Our school is very proud of the team of staff that work here. The teaching staff have written a little bit about themselves and some of the pupils have drawn pictures so you'll be able to recognise them when you come to the school (maybe!)

Mrs Croxall (Headteacher) - information coming soon.
Mrs Croxall is also our SENCO and Literacy coordinator. |
|
Mrs Booth (Reception) - I have taught at Christ Church First School for many years. I have taught in all the classes over the years, but for the last 11 years I have taught the children in the Recption Class. I enjoy music and singing, and so enjoy leading the choir and recorder group at school.
Another of my hobbies is sewing, and so I am usually quite busy along with other helpers making costumes for our plays. In my spare time, I love to walk our dogs, visit the theatre, or read a good mystery book.
Mrs Booth is also responsible for music, KS1 History and Geography and is our RE coordinator. |
|
Mrs Fitzpatrick (Year 1) - information coming soon.
Mrs Fitzpatrick is our Art and PSHE coordinator. |
|
Mrs Bradley (Year 2) - I have worked in Stone for many years. My hobbies are dancing, gardening and reading.
Mrs Bradley is also our Science and D&T coordinator. |
|
Mr Hindhaugh (Year 3) - I qualified as a teacher in June 2004 and gained my first teaching post at Christ Church First School in Stone. Previously I worked as a Teaching Assistant at Hassell County Primary School, Newcastle and then as a Graduate Teacher at St Margaret’s Junior School, Newcastle after gaining a degree at Manchester Metropolitan University in Professional Studies Education.
|
Outside of work I am a season ticket holder at Stoke City and support them home and away whenever possible. I am a keen sportsperson and am involved in various 5-a-side football leagues as well as playing golf as much as possible.
I like to keep up to date in the latest music and attend various music concerts with my wife on a regular basis. I also enjoy travelling to new and exciting destinations and can count Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Florida and Mexico on my list of places visited.
Mr Hindhaugh is also our ICT and games coordinator.
|
Mrs Sands (Year 4) - I have been teaching since 1992. Prior to this I worked in the Civil Service for 14 years. I have really enjoyed my change of career and find that working with children promises that no two days are alike.
I am married with 2 children. When I am not working, I really enjoy walking with friends and family. I enjoy reading, listening to music and travelling.
|
As my family are keen Stoke City supporters I have no option but to be a Stoke Supporter too. I also support the England Football Team and have been known to travel far distances to watch their games.
Mrs Sands is also our deputy headteacher and is responsible for Maths, KS2 History, Geography, RE and is our PE Coordinator.

Mrs Smith (School Administrator) - Mrs Smith is an integral part of the team at Christ Church First School. Her tireless efforts in all administration areas do not go un-noticed although it may be easy to forget she is there when she is locked away in that office with her head in the registers!
In my spare time, when this is available, I enjoy being the leader of the local Brownies where I get to spend time with the children from school which isn't always possible in an average school day. I am also a keen flower arranger and enjoy going to watch Stoke City with my son. |
Our school also has a number of support staff that aid the teaching team.
